Storage:
Purpose Built Construction: All Fortress facilities are Stand-Alone buildings situated in protective compounds. For the enhanced safety and security of client possessions, our warehouses are built with no exposure to adjacent walls of other buildings and our facilities are windowless.
Climate Control: Temperature is maintained at 68o - 72oF and humidity maintained at 50% - 55% every hour of every day.
Fire Safety: All facilities are Stand-Alone Buildings. This unique feature differentiates us from most other companies and offers our clients a higher level of fire protection and structural protection. Our Sprinkler Systems, Smoke Detectors and Heat Sensors are monitored 24 hours a day and regularly inspected.
Security: Access is completely controlled. Facilities are equipped with 24-hour monitored State of the Art Electronic Security Systems with direct lines to the police and fire department. Integrated Intrusion Detection systems are used along with Closed Circuit TV monitoring. Motion detectors are installed throughout the building with photo-electric beams, passive infrared motion detectors and shock sensors in all exterior walls.
Employees: All employees are bonded and background checks are completed.
Viewing Room: All facilities have a gallery-like viewing room available for private shows, appraisals, etc.
Inventory and Possessions Management Services: Fortress Clients who use our managed storage services may request that Fortress keep shipping documents, condition reports and images on file for works stored at our facilities. Releasing and receiving capabilities are available for storage clients as well. Our inventory service is optional and clients can choose to maintain their own inventory.
Housekeeping / Maintenance Program: Temperature and humidity are monitored daily along with our security and fire suppression systems. All facilities have a full-time, on-site maintenance staff which keeps each storage center immaculately clean.
Private Storage Vaults: Vaults are available in sizes from 6 square feet to over 4,000 square feet.
Insurance: All Risk Storage Coverage for domestic and international moves & storage is available at competitive rates.
Web Access: Clients can enjoy the convenience of web access during visits to their storage vaults and our viewing galleries. Storage Vaults and Viewing Galleries can be equipped with telephone lines as well.
