FROM SUBWAY:

Take #7 Irt train to Vernon / Jackson stop - one stop from Grand Central. Make left onto 50th Avenue . Walk down one block. At 5th Street make a right. Walk one block to 49th Avenue . Make a left, walk half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

FROM BRONX / WESTCHESTER :

Take Triborough Bridge to Queens , take first exit off Triborough. Make quick right at bottom of exit ramp. Go one block and make a right. Follow until you reach 21st Street , make a left onto 21st Street . (you will go under Queensboro Bridge ). Remain on 21st Street until you reach 44th Drive . Make a right onto 44th Drive to Vernon Blvd. Make a left onto Vernon Blvd. To 49th Ave. Make a right onto 49th Ave. Cross 5th Street . Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

FROM QUEENS MIDTOWN TUNNEL:

Exiting from tollbooth make 180 degree right turn onto Borden Avenue . Take  Borden Avenue to 5th Street . Make a right onto 5th Street . Go three blocks and make a left onto 49th Avenue . Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

FROM BROOKLYN :

Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway to Mcguinness / Humbolt exit. Make a left off the exit and take Mcguinness Blvd. over the Pulaski Bridge . You will be on 11th Street . Stay on 11th Street for one block until you get to 48th Avenue . Make a left onto 48th Avenue and go to 5th Street . Make a left onto 5th Street , go to 49th Avenue . Make a right onto 49th Avenue . Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

FROM QUEENSBORO BRIDGE ( 59TH STREET BRIDGE):

Take the lower level of the bridge to Jackson Avenue . Make a right turn onto Jackson Avenue . Take Jackson Avenue to 11th Street . Make a right turn onto 11th Street , and left on to 48th Avenue . Make a left onto 5th Street; take 5th Street to 49th Avenue. Make a right onto to 49th Avenue. Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

FROM JFK AIRPORT:

Take the Van Wyck Expressway to Long Island Expressway westbound and exit at Van Dam Street, which is the last exit before the Midtown Tunnel. Go west on Borden Avenue to 5th Street. Make a right onto 5th Street and go 3 blocks. Make a left onto 49th Avenue. Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.

LA GUARDIA:

Take Grand Central Parkway toward the Triborough Bridge. Exit at 31^st Street. Turn left onto 31st Street. Follow 31st Street to Broadway. Take Broadway to Vernon Blvd. Turn left onto Vernon Blvd. and follow to 49th Avenue. Turn right onto 49th Avenue, cross over 5th Street. Drive half a block to the Fortress entrance on the left.
