Take I-93 North and get off at Exit 16 (Andrew Sq.).
At top of exit ramp, turn left at the traffic light (Southhampton St.) and cross over I-93.
At the first traffic light after crossing over I-93, make a sharp left turn (almost a U-Turn), and drive past the South Bay shopping center.
Go straight through the next traffic light, then bear to the right, past the Shell service station and Holiday Inn, and follow road to entrance of the Fortress parking lot (on your left).
From the NORTH:
Take I-93 South and get off at Exit 18 (Mass Avenue/South Bay).
At the first traffic signal, go straight, following signs to Andrew Square/South Bay Center.
Continue straight (Frontage Road) through the next 2 traffic signals; The Fortress will be visible ahead.
Go straight through the second traffic signal, then bear to the right, going past the Shell service station and Holiday Inn, and follow road to entrance of the Fortress parking lot (on your left).
If you miss Exit 18:
Continue on I-93 South to Exit 15 (Columbia Road).
At the intersection, turn right onto Columbia Road. The 3rd traffic signal is Boston Street. DO NOT TURN ONTO BOSTON STREET!!!
Continue straight ahead (this is now Mass. Avenue); follow the green road signs with the orange flags which say "Detour to South Bay Center."
Turn right at the entrance to the South Bay Center, and drive through the parking lot to the traffic signal on the opposite side.
At the traffic signal, turn right and go past the Shell service station and Holiday Inn to entrance of the Fortress parking lot (on your left).
From the WEST:
Take the Mass Pike to its
intersection with I-93.
Follow signs for I-93 South.
Take I-93 South and get off at first exit, Exit 18 (Mass Avenue/South Bay).
Follow directions above.
From BACK BAY/SOUTH END:
Take Mass Avenue south to Melnea Cass Blvd. (just past the Boston Medical Center overpass).
Turn left at Melnea Cass Blvd. And follow signs to I-93 South.
At the 2nd set of traffic signals, The Fortress will be visible ahead.
Continue past the Shell service station and Holiday Inn to entrance of the Fortress parking lot (on your left).
